OK Folks Here it is ! We have a wonderful gift we have 12 Acres that will be donated to SOMEONE SPECIAL NEEDS YOU we will be building a Farm a group home on the property. The stage we are in right now is the Town of Colts Neck are making a few changes to allow this to satisfy the builders Coha obligation.
When this is completed the Group Home Farm will be a reality ! Take a look at some of the drawings and the link to the article that ran in the Colts Neck Journal!! Keep praying and hoping!

Howdy Folks,
2010 and were on our way to the start of assisting in the fundraising for a Campus for disabilities.
The Goal is to develop a facility that will house a group home for developmentally disabled and other therapeutic and life enhancing units. We are striving for a farm based atmosphere where alpaca, sheep and chickens will be common place.
Green houses and a work program will be in place. An after school program and a transitional program.

At Someone Special Needs You, we provide a social, recreational and creative outlet where children with Special Needs can express themselves. We also serve as a support system for families with Special Needs children.

ABOUT US
We are located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Started by parents and local community leaders, Someone Special Needs You was a result of their concern for the lack of social activities provided for handicapped children. The founders also wanted to help families with handicapped children find a place where they could come together and share ideas and common concerns regarding Special Needs children and their role in our schools and in our society.

WHAT WE DO
At Someone Special Needs You meetings, we provide a variety of activites for our Special Children. Each evening is well planned with various events including crafts, exercise, singing, dancing, snacking, socializing, and just plain fun! We invite brothers and sisters of our Special Kids, and their friends, to assist as Buddies. Each buddy teams up with a Special Needs child and helps them through the activities. Our Buddies are fantastic! Plenty of parents and volunteers are on hand at all times. It's always an evening full of laughter and love!
